My CD's Pick of the Week: Let Them Talk By Hugh Laurie

Hey hey, look who's back!

I know that 3 entries a day is A LOT (in an obnoxious kind of way), but what can I tell you:
I'm bored.

Now, let me fill you in on a great CD I heard recently, thanks to youtube.
I'm talking about the new Let Them Talk by Hugh Laurie.

I know what you are thinking... Isn't that the guy from House?
Actors trying to be singers are so LAME. Stick with what you are good at!

And I agree with you. Scarlett Johanson should stick to being sexy in movie
and let the grown up singers do the singing part.

I'm more than happy to make an exception for Hugh Laurie.

This guy can carry a tune like a real jazz man and he got SKILLZ!
Just check out this video of him in the eightie's (The guitar, the hair, the accent. Perfect.)

And now he brings us a wonderful blues album: Let Them Talk.
It only took me two listennings to really fall in love with it.
(Compare to five times for the album 21 by Adele)
My favourite songs are The Battle of Jericho and Swanee River.
It's spirited and makes you snap your finguers in no time.
So there it in order. Live in concert people :

So... What are you waiting for? Go on Itunes and buy it NOW!
Or just do like me, the broke girl : watch it on youtube.
Either way, you won't regret it.

Question of the Post: Did you know Hugh Laurie could sing like that? What is your worst example off actor turned singer? Or singer turned actor? -I'm talking to you Madonna

I know mine is Heidi Montag. Does she count as an actress?

Please leave a comment, I don't want to sound desperate but I have no self-respect. Damn it.

Anyway, keep on smiling people. See ya!
